I returned this crappy product to Best Buy! * Tried talking to Tech support, but they were just read from scripts. * Tried to upload to YouTube, but authentication did not work (message comes up saying browser not supported). * Tried to export the videos to MP4 and application crashed, multiple times. * Software was able to record audio/video, and could store as mpeg format.

* Installed Roxio software on Windows 10, using Virtual Box. * Decided to run the software that came with the product. * Opened OBS, but it could not recognize the device. * Plugged it in, and Linux could see the audio device, but not the video.

I bought a Roxio VHS to DVD dongle at Best Buy. here is my experience first with Roxio, then with Eas圜apture. My goal was to move all my old VHS and 8MM videos to MP4.
